Intuit Real Estate Solutions was chosen by the GPM&S (Global Property Management and Services) team at BP to develop their Global Real Estate Database (GRED) in 2002. A high-level steering team at BP selected Intuit Real Estate Solutions after an extensive research and development exercise.

BP had identified their requirements for an efficient property database, which had to deliver improved quality, consistency & accessibility of property data, with the capability to provide almost instant reports on BP’s managed property.

Intuit Real Estate Solutions was selected for its innovative approach, flexible and powerful reporting capabilities, 24-hour global support capabilities and its ability to meet BP’s requirements in the long-term.

Through effective project management, the project went live, as planned, in Spring 2003, with the Intuit Real Estate Solutions now providing a repository for all BP real estate data. The Intuit Real Estate Solutions’ database brings together information on BP’s property portfolio, locally, regionally and globally.

Juliet Filose, project sponsor at BP, explained why Intuit Real Estate Solutions was selected to provide the new GRED database:
